I offer short and long term face-to-face therapy both in French and in English, and play therapy for younger children.
I can offer you a safe and confidential space where you can explore and express your difficulties and concerns. Therapy may seem like a scary or daunting step to take – especially if you have never had counselling or psychotherapy before – but quickly the relief to be able to talk in a neutral environment, with somebody that is not in your social circle, will make a real difference. Whatever your concerns, therapy can help you understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviour and help you to make changes in the way you approach your life. It will allow you to explore your difficulties far from any social pressure and give you the tools to make positive and long-lasting changes.
Each person is unique and their needs specific so I do not have one approach for everyone. I offer an integrative approach, meaning that I use various therapeutic approaches (psychodynamic, systemic and humanistic) from which I borrow different techniques depending on the needs of my clients. My aim is to find out what is most helpful to you and your own particular difficulties.
What I can help with: Depression, anxiety disorders, stress, separation/divorce, relationship issues, loss and bereavement, life transitions, mid-life crisis, work issues, low self esteem, family problems, parenting difficulties, getting older and its challenges….
As well as working privately, I work within a community setting (Centre Familial et Social) providing brief psychological intervention to families. I also provide supervision to professionals working with young children.
